Stupid Question but....

 emoticon

Ok, this may sound like a stupid question, but did WEG print all their books in english?

I'm asking because I've seen a lot of books for sale on ebay from Germany/France and didn't want to buy them and find they are written in French/German.

Cheers

Well i know a lot of people did buy english Books from WEG, and a friend of mine has only English WEG Books (me living in Germany) so i guess most are in English, though most of the time one can tell that from the Cover of the Book, or simply PM/Email the Auctioning Person/Company.

Thanks Witzig

Thought about emailing the sellers, but me being a typical arogant british person (not knowing any other languages) assumed the sellers wouldn't understand english. emoticon

Well most RPGers in Germany understand at least basic English (most are on my level or around that). Basically thats a) we get English forced upon us in school (which i now don't consider a bad thing), and a lot of Books/RPG are only avaible in Enlgish.

I personally did turn my English Reading down, when i started to THINK in English and no longer thought in German... Pretty wierd i tell you emoticon.

I really don't think that the RPG's are exclusively printed in english, but I think we can assume that english is the primary language that they are printed in.

Witzig, I could tell by the way you write that you can think in English.
I took French in high school. I should have taken Spanish given the huge influx of Mexicans into the US.

It is normal and really nothing weird. After some time the brain learns to switch quickly between languages.

Mine used to switch into german when I was sleep deprived or drunk sometimes (before I forgot most of it from non-use). It's kinda funny to see the looks you get at a retail job when you can't remember the English word for something simple like calculator and noone else knows any German and thinks you're BSing them...

I have one of the WEG books in French (GM Guide).

The french version of the WEG books were translated/published by Descartes but still had the WEG logo on them.
