Re: KSE Hellstar

To be honest, I don't know where I'm going with my art. Since the week before Memorial Day, I've only had one whole weekend off during this production push at work. This (and the walking 14mth old) has left me at times not only not getting on the internet, but not even getting on the computer. I'm entering a stage in my life where the ideas and inspiration don't come as often as they used to, and when I am doing art, I'm teaching myself how to digitally paint in Photoshop--and its not even science-fiction. I really haven't done any new sci-fi since passing off the Headhunter. It's just not there.I've even become disenchanted with the Orion's Arm group and left it, never having done anything for them. I don't feel like doing anything for anyone because I know I wont hold the promise of completion. It's like that phase when you stop playing with toys.
So what this means if you haven't already guessed it, is that I wont be kindly finishing the Hellstar. It's available. Anyone who wants to further develop it, feel free. Use what I have here as a guide. I don't want to be bothered with running more renders. Improve, add, remove on it, whatever. It's no matter to me. Enjoy it.
There's a lot of great artists and potential artists here. I think all of you can do just fine without my art, has many of you have done so prior to knowing me.

Well, I do thank you for giving us permission to work on your inspired work, Paul.

I am sorry that you seem to be going through some tough times.

I am sure though that you will find inspiration again.

I think you need a vacation, buddy. But then, who doesn't?

Letme know if there is anything I can do for you.

Well, that's the thing, I don't consider myself to be going through a tough time. We go through our changes and I've been resisiting mine instead of accepting it.

Well, Paul isn't working on this anymore, so if it's okay to steal Quint's work and finish it, it must be okay to steal Paul's work and finish it too! After all, if Paul didn't want it to be a community project it wouldn't be posted here, would it? JOY! Now I have something to do with my time once more!

Well, the rub, gentlemen is this: you may do what you will to my stuff, work onit to your delight, take it in any artistic direction you want.

Doesn't mean I might not pick up later and continue working, completely and totally disregarding anything that anyone else had done.

i havent posted in this thread yet but nice ship. Now I would like to ask some people to please do something for the sake of the forums. Please stop turning every thread into an arguement its unprofessional and childish. Really is this not what everyone wants to do, cause in my opinion we will loose people coming to this forum if this keeps up. No one wants to read about others being childish

Again nice ship

As an Imperial officer I would answer the question "Would you sacrifice 200,000 soldiers to take one objective" my answer would be "Yes Sir, and Ill sacrifice another 200,000 in the name of the Emperor to fullfill his dreams".
