My German is a little rusty, but they're talking about changing the name.

Volkssturm... emoticon

Please call it "Minuteman". Volkssturm is absolutely inadequate in Star Wars. That would be like calling a Star Destroyer "Hammerfetz" or "Trümmerkrach Blitzkrieg IV". emoticon

Re: A few drawings

Sorry. 'Volkssturm' is no official name, just a working title, after I realized where they got the inspiration for those contraptions. Still, 'minutemen' isn't a term familiar to my players, and would draw only blank stares. We play in German, of course, and Volkssturm was fitting, with its undertones of fanatism, patched together equipment and low survivability.

In that case a more appropriate name with equal Nazi-analogy would be "Werewolf", which was the name by which the suicide-pilot project of the Luftwaffe went near the end of the war.

Re: A few drawings

Oh, I thought Werewolf were the guerilla units that were to operate behind allied lines, but never went into action.

Yes, the name was used for several things.
