Could you post some multiperspective orthos to make it easier for someone else to pick it up? Front, back, side, top, perhaps? Should be almost no work to render them and it greatly increases the chances, that someone pics these babies up to nurture them into full grown ships with deckplans.

I don't want to do that. This is just an idea of a ship. I think there is enough of it that anyone can use their imagination and develop something out of it. I'd rather something be based on my concepts and not be a direct copy. It leads designs in different directions than what I had in mind.

What should we do with this? Does it waarant continuation? Should I get rid of the anti-boarding devices?, the wings? Should I extend the docking ports?

I used to be resistant to suggestions, but now, I'm open to them. I think it will make things more fun, more interesting, and perhaps more challenging.

I think it definitely warrants continuation.

I always liked this design.

I like the wings, but the docking tube should be able to extend, to make actual docking easier.

Most of all, I'd like to see more engine and trench details. emoticon

I think with a couple of tweaks this ship will be a favorite of this forums players.

The docking tubes are about the only thing I see sticking out as needing work, just a bit longer and they will be golden IMHO.

I do think the wings should fold or retract in some way for landings.

Folding the wings would only reduce the ships width and also complicate the interior with an additional mechanism.

Most landing pads I would think would be circular and ranging in size, reduding the width only permits this craft to enter tight hanger bays, would it really be worth it for that small an improvement.

Now if you wanted the wings to move for the coolness factor, go right ahead!!

Just a quick mod on the docking port. It needs rework, but this gives an idea.

Looks kind of stupid without the wings.

I like the idea of being able to get into tight landing spaces, but I don't know if the wings would take up too much extra space. I'll have to put in on a landing pad with some figures. The only worry i have about the wings is docking. It would require some pitch rotation of the ship in some cases (it would have to dock with the YT-1300 at 90 degrees). If I keep them, I have to put in a seperation line, so they can be hinged and fold down or up for docking.

I like it better with the wings.

How big is this ship?
Are the circular tubes in the side just in front of the wings, the same size as the falcon?

If those are the same type of docking tubes, it seems to me that the central ****pit window is just way too big...
