Core Title Logos

Eric and I have discussed this topic before, and I have been looking around the other forums in the runboard community and have discovered that it is possible to make a special custom logo in the place of the member titles.

Now, it has been expressed that we do not do this for post count, and I agree.

Perhaps a ranking logo for the special members?
I have not yet determined the size of the logo, but we can determine that as development progresses.

I would like to see some themes for what could be used.

Does this sound like something that would be worthwhile and add some flare to the forums?

Well, as I mentioned the last time this was discussed I'd be happy to design it... and I still like the ideas of using a planetary core or a ship's power core as themes. If anyone's got additional theme ideas I for one would love to hear them.

As for size... I don't think it should be any larger than the image size available for avatars. We're trying to enhance things, not overpower them.

Indeed. Eric, I would suggest a logo that is 60x140 pixels.

perhaps a 3d view of some kind?

perhaps making a larger image and then we crop it into the logo.

I am sure that we will get a bazillion choices. emoticon
