Posting a want ad on eBay for "The Wife of Monte Cristo" returned a very pleasant response - a link to this site. They have thousands of classic movies, most not currently available commercially (previously released but long out of print), are available here, for a very reasonable price (DVDs are $15 US + S+H, NTSC VHS also available).
Just a few of the titles include:

The King's Pirate (1967)
Last of the Buccaneers (1950)
Mask of the Avenger (1951)
Princess of the Nile (1954)
