Access to certain forums
I applied for membership and have already been approved but my access is still being restricted. Why bother applying for membership when it doesn't give you access to all of the forums?

You must set your browser to accept cookies, and not delete them. That's how Runboard determines that you are a member of that board or portion thereof.
For the Clips Contributions forum, the Photos And Artwork forum and the Stories of Swordplay forum, access is restricted to a seperate membership because some of the content is recommended for older viewers only (clips and photos with nudity, graphic violence, profanity, etc.). If the forums are left open to everyone, underage viewers can access that material without any restrictions, and in these enlightened days of heightened internet security and concerns about easy access to any risque online material, that's just not right.
Membership to those three forums is absolutely free to obtain. On the "Sorry, No Access" screen, enter optional comments in the text field and click "Submit". Your application should be granted shortly thereafter, and you can access all the forums.
Don't forget - don't delete your cookies.
Internet Explorer 7 will allow you to save your cookies onto a special file that you can then back up.
File - Import and Export...
