"DOA: Dead or Alive" - New Release Date and MPAA Rating
Based on the series of video games which included beautiful women fighting bad guys and playing bikini beach volleyball, "DOA: Dead or Alive" has a new release date in North America - September 8th, the Friday following Labour Day. And the MPAA rating is in - PG-13, which opens the movie up to a potentially wider audience. Milla Jovovich's recent sci-fi swordplay thriller "Ultraviolet" also came out with a PG-13 rating. The MPAA awarded the PG-13 rating for "DOA", citing "pervasive martial arts and action violence, some sexuality and nudity". Devon Aoki, Sarah Carter, Natassia Malthe, Jamie Pressly, Holly Valance, Matthew Marsden and Eric Roberts are featured in the cast.

The release date has been bumped back again...it's now opening in North America on October 20th.

UK release date (unconfirmed) is next Friday, September 15th, according to someone over on the "Deadly Angels" board.

First, The Bad News...
We regret to announce that the release date has been pushed back yet again for North America.
The new release date, according to the film's usually reliable Wikipedia entry, is December 8th.

It's interesting to note that the movie has been playing in Australia and parts of Europe for over four weeks now.
