Tricksters are normally home by 7 at the latest in the states. They aren't allowed to be out late for their own protection.

We didn't have anyone here either, but sometimes we do, and sometimes we don't. My brother had about 50, and another friend had 30 or so. I heard that one family that loves Halloween had 500 kids, so they were really happy with that.

The hospitals here will sometimes x-ray the candy to make sure that nothing has been put into them. Also, we never let the kids just go to every house. We only go to those we know plus the kids have to be done before it gets dark.
