Husband for Hire
And MORE ERIK!!
Oxygen has found a "Husband for Hire."
The romantic comedy concerns a Latina businesswoman who must find a mate quickly or forfeit her inheritance; Tim Perrell's Process Media is producing the telepic.
Nadine Velazquez ("My Name Is Earl") plays the businesswoman and Mark Consuelos is the man who accepts her offer. Rounding out the cast are Mario Lopez, Erik Estrada and Tempestt Bledsoe.
Serving as co-exec producer with Perrell is Howard Gertler. Kris Isacsson is the writer-director. Oxygen's exec in charge is Stefanie Ziev.
The movie premieres on Oxygen in the fourth quarter.

I was starting to feel like I was slacking off, couldn't find any NEW Erik news. Here's a little more I found on the TV movie he is doing:

Also on the docket, as previously announced, are a second season of "The Bad Girls Club," which returns in December, and the original movie "Husband for Hire," starring Mario Lopez, Mark Consuelos, Tempestt Bledsoe, Nadine Velazquez and Erik Estrada. "Husband" debuts in January.
Separately, Oxygen said Tuesday that it has inked a deal with Yahoo Video to provide programming content for the site, including long- and short-form programming.

It kind of sounds to me (by the second paragraph), that perhaps the movie may be available on Yahoo Video to watch at some point. Hope that helps some of you who may not have the Oxygen channel.

What kind of name is Tempestt Bledsoe???
Having said that im sure I have seen that name somewhere in something I used to watch, but not sure what.

Sorry Erika, But I do hope they put it on the site for you to watch. I'll try to get it on DVD as well.
I believe Tempest Bledsoe was one of the daughters on the Cosby Show.
