 The Rules for TCC... Please Read.
Welcome to TCC...
TCC is a Message Board created for the discussion of the 1970’s hit television series, “CHiPs” as well as the actors that starred in this show.
It has evolved over the past years as a friendly, close-knit community. Our love for the cast and our friends on here have bonded us all in a very special way.
This message board has taken on a special persona which has itself created a special headquarter of characters and events.
We invite you to join in this special group and hope that you enjoy being a part of this Community.
In order to try and keep TCC a fun and friendly place for all who “lives” here and for those who visit, we ask that you try and adhere to a few simple principles:
RULES OF THIS BOARD...
- No swearing or offensive language.
- No SPAM !
- No posting of MEANINGLESS POSTS. So as to get a higher post ranking/or to get faster into the private sections, or for just posting sake, these are classed as meaningless messages and will be deleted.
If The board Admin suspect this is an attempt to get into the private sections your application will be denied.
- The point of different threads is to enable posts/topics to be found easier. Please keep ON TOPIC Posts going off topic all the time will be deleted. This said Please refrain from starting multiple threads about the same subject. Before you start a new chat, make sure that your subject has not already been discussed. Five threads about the same topic will lead us to no definite conclusions about our opinions. If you do start new threads, the moderators will consolidate them into the first thread on the subject.
- No posting of pornographic images or foul language.
- No linking to pictures on the TCC web/forum or taking pictures and putting them on your site without the permission of thechipscommunity.com. Also no stealing of the icons/blinki's. The Chips Community is copyrighted. If you ask you are welcome, but please do not just take. A lot of work has gone into some of these.
- None message posted in 6 months -> A mail from the TCC Admins or Mods.
- Be kind to others and others will be kind to you.
- “Trolls” will not be tolerated. If you are joining this message board in order to stir up controversy, cause problems and arguments, you will be banned from use of this message board.
- If you have a problem with another member or their post, please contact a
Administrator who will review the post and/or try to resolve the problem. This may result in posts being edited or deleted or a topic being locked and/or closed.
- When posting please do not make unnecessary quotes as this takes up the space of the forum, and can be quite annoying. If of course the post is an old post that you wish to quote then go ahead, but when your post is below the post in question, then this is classed as unnecessary quoting.
Please note that non-TCC avatars must have the permission of the Administrators before they can be used on TCC. We will allow different avatars if you wish. Any offensive images will result in either the user being banned or being asked to choose an alternative avatar.
If your Avatar is one made by myself which is also Linked to my server it may not be used on another message board without my permission If this is found the image will be deleted, and will need to be requested again.
Please note this also applies to your signature, we dont mind what signature you use in your posts, (as long as they are not offensive,) but please make sure that they are not to long/large for the forum as this will alter the forum shape when people read your post, when this happens the Admin will send you a PM, if there is no response to that PM within 48 hours the thread will be closed/or post deleted. If another post is made by that person and the signature is still to large/long their future posts will be deleted. The Admins cannot enter a persons account to change a persons signature, if you require help then please contact me Erika (<---click), and I will fix your signature for you. Thankyou.
Signatures: These should be no more than 500x200 pixels in size. If you are using animated banners, please consider the file size as many of these can cause inconvenience for those TCC members who are on slower connections.
- You are very welcome to advertise your board on here, but before this is done in the appropriate thread your URL must be submitted to an Admin for inspection. Then you will be given the go ahead.
If this is not done your URL will be deleted.
- If there is a problem with a member, please do not think we are ignoring the situation. Here at TCC we like to deal with problems off board, and so may be in contact with the member in question.
If you are contacted by a Mod, please respond to them. If no responce you will then be contacted by Adim. If again no responce you will be contated by myself.
If you click the banner at the top of the forum you will be connected to the TCC web page.
We hope these simple guidelines will help to make and keep TCC the warm and friendly place that we call “home”.
