IMPORTANT UPDATE - EVERYONE READ <----------
First of all I want to say that it is tough to manage 30+ people on this team. However I don't give up and don't plan to. But to keep this moving forward and NOT backwards I need the help of the team. Please read ALL of the following so that you are clear about what is going on:
1. FORUMS: EVERYONE MUST read the forums everyweek. I will post practices by every weds. I can't keep a good line of communication with the team unless you read the forums. If you have no internet you need to CALL ME.
2. PRACTICES SCHEDULES. When I set a practice schedule I expect you to be there. That means not going somewhere else or not just showing up. You need to be there or POST/CALL me to let me know you will not be there. I can't be left hanging as I pick up paint and have to haul it in and out of my house. My time is valuable and I dont want to waste it for lack of communication. Also if you do not attend enough practice I may not schedule you for an event unless you speak with me prior.
3. PRACTICE ATTIRE: When practicing with OUR team at a public field, you MUST wear our jerseys or an eclipse jersey. NO HK, No Dye etc.. (unless you have yet to get your Kolohe jersey). You must also properly edorse our sponsors by using your stiffi, ego and team gear. At practices at our field I do not care what jersey you wear.
4. ATTITUDES: Keep your mouth Clean, refrain from swearing, it slips on us all but dont look like a an arse with a trash mouth. Avoid fights with other teams or teammates at all costs. ABSOLUTLEY NO TRASH TALKING about other people or teams on any forum or at any time.
5. TOURNAMENTS: When I post to SEND in a check for payment - DO IT ASAP or let me know what the hold up is. I can't roster a team far enough in advance to run proper practices UNLESS I know whos playing. From here out I will set a deadline and if your check is not in my hands or in my mailbox you will NOT BE ROSTERED FOR the event.
6. PARENTS: It is your job (if you have parents who support your paintball) to inform them of the upcoming events, arrange your own rides and get the payments into me ASAP. You can always ask me if you need additional information and your parents can call me anytime.
7. SPONSORS: If you currently do not have an EGO, Eclipse pants or a stiffi barrel you need to contact me and get them ASAP! NO ONE is exempt from wearing our sponsored gear.
8. TEAM HOPPING: If you plan on leaving the team this season for another team - please leave now or let me know whats going on. I don't want to depend on people who plan to leave the team for a slightly better deal. Sure if Dynasty picks you up awsome!
9. COMMUNICATION: It all boils down to communication. Call me, AIM me, Email me - whatever it takes to keep me informed.
10. CAPTAINS: I will be requiring more of team captians as far as scheduling, calling and organizing thier squads to help alleviate some of my duties. There will be some compensation for this, but you'd mostly be doing this because you want to help.
11. DUES: Will be done 1 of 2 ways:
-$150 every 6 months or $250 for the year. Paint will cost you 25 at the field.
-$5-$10 every practice which would bring your cost to 30-$35 with a case of paint.
Either way is fine for me, which ever fits your budget. But the more people pay up front the more we can get for the field. Currently I am paying $160 a month for the bunkers, $50 for the Portapotty and I need ot buy a new tank which will cost $600 appx. All left over money will go into the field to get better insurance, pods, barrel covers and other expenses.
Some people, and you should know who you are, have already paid your dues.
