It's so nice to be back on the forum. My computer isn't entirely fixed, but I can get online, at least.
It's going to be an odd month coming up, my mom died on the 14th last year, and the weird thing is it doesn't seem that long ago. I'm not looking forward to it. There is so much to recall right now, what was going on last year around this time. Life can really mess with you, and so much has changed since then.
Last week I went to see someone I knew who had just had a baby, and she was in the same hospital my mom was. I was thinking, how weird is this? It felt so strange to be there. I just kept staring at stuff with this sickening feeling in my gut. But we did not go anywhere near where my mom was, I was there to see a newborn, and that was wonderful. After leaving, though, I don't think I ever want to be in that place again. 
We had some severe weather last night, the tornado season is finally here. It was pretty exciting, some powerful rain and wind. I still want to go storm chasing, that would rock.
Last week I went to Arkansas, and had a good time. The Ozarks are really pretty, and the air is so fresh. It was fun to get away, and they have a nice mall in Fayetteville. 
I'm really excited about a few things at the moment. RoTK coming out on DVD on the 25th of May, and, Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban on the 4th of June! Getting a new computer, and summer alone, that's always exciting.

Just when I was getting used to my new computer, something went wrong with it, and I had to exchange it today. Something with the registry, it totally confused me, but, anyway, I have a new one all over again.
The weather is freaking hot. Especially last night, I went and played basketball with a bunch of friends, and it was dead hot even after the sun went down. But it was fun! I, uhh, scored 8 points. Better than nothing, I suppose.
And I am such a moron, I sustained three different injuries during that hour and a half. Once, when one of the guys spun around without looking and crashed into me, like seriously crashed into me, and I slammed flat on my back on the concrete. Now that one didn't start hurting until the game was over. Next, I was dribbling and one of the girls was trying to get the ball, I spun around and she came forward at the same time, and our heads smacked. It was loud. I have a very sore spot I can barely touch. Then I scraped myself on the side of my ankle. 
Today is very slow, it is so nice. I helped a friend unpacking in her new apartment, now I'm enjoying some computer time and doing a little writing.
