I would have to say, though, that the reuniting of the Fellowship is my favorite. *sigh*

A: As realised on film, Edoras. The Golden Hall in that fabulous location, the strong winds blowing all around. It's like in tales of high romance! In the book it would be Lothlorien. The description of a city of trees is really magical.
Q: You can invite three LOTR characters to afternoon tea. Who would you invite and why?

I would, of course, go with Sam! Handsome or no doesn't matter to me (not that he couldn't be handsome), Sam is just the dearest and kindest and smartest and bravest, not to mention incredibly modest

ok, well easily for me is the whole Saruman deal in ROTK, or rather lack of him (and wormtongue). Alterations from the book are one thing, but that made no sense just within the films themselves, either as a trilogy (where''d he go?!) or a single film (who they talking about?!)
but hopefully the EE DVD will make all well.. along with Mr.Witchking's "I will break him" etc etc which makes no sense either.
Apart from those, there were a few too many circly helicopter shots... just a few to many... for my tastes. Bring on holographic 3-D cinemas!
Ok, my question is the following:
If you were had two pieces of elven Lembas bread, what would you use to make a nice middle-earth sarnie*? Like, what filling?
(*sarnie=sandwich in Englandese)
