 Fan Fics...
What do you all think of fan fics? Do you like to read them or does it ruin or mess up your image of a charature? Would you like to see some here or not? If you like fan fics, do you like fan fics that stay close to the original plot but have a few twists and turns or do you like the ones that make things totally differnet from the plot and charatures?

I love fan fics. And I love, for example, our Company histories. So many extensive tales about characters that could have existed in Middle Earth but weren't talked about. It's kind of fun to think while the "Fellowship" was on their adventure, some of us were doing our own little adventures around Middle Earth. Pretty cool.

I love them too. Especially the kind the Company comes up with, where we get to run around Middle-earth ourselves and interact with all the Tolkien characters. It's very fun!
I haven't read many straight fan fics just about the original characters, but I'd definitely like to read any posted by you lot. :yes:

So, if I had 3 fanfics sitting in my computer just sitting there and they happened just to pop up on the forum, they would be welcome??  If the fan fics were to pop up, they'd be in the Libary of Fictional Works...unless there's a problem with that.
I love fan fics too. I tend to get bored living in the middle of no where, so with a nice cold glass of water and a fan, I'll curl up at my computer and read fan fics. I really love the fics about another person joining the Fellowship and everything. Those are cool, I love seeing how the author is going to change how certain events happen and how different charatures in the books come out and have a part that they didn't have in the books. That is really cool. I also love the fluff stories, where the charatures are just not themselves. Some are funny, others just are weird. I love writing fan fics too, obviously...lol. I also have problems with one of my fan fics, would somebody like to help?? I'm stuck...very stuck.

lol, Baz! Of course fics are welcome! I love fanfic, though I have a hard time finding good LotR stuff.. if only because there are 20000+ fics on ff.net! (and so many of them are funny ones.. I mean, I dont mind fun fics, I just want to find some serious, in depth, well written ones more often than I do.. thank goodness for Company histories! lol).
