Re: Eowyn
What did you think of her?
She rocks.
Do you think she and Aragorn would've made a better couple than he and Arwen?
I don't see it happpening, but if Arwen had not been in the picture, it could have been a fitting union, if their relationship had been better explored. Faramir is definitely her man.
Did you think she was an interesting character or did you think she was just a pain.
Interesting. I mean, she is one of the only definable females in LOTR, a lot of heart and strength. Eowyn is cool.

Re: Eowyn
I love Eowyn. She's one of my fave characters.
No, I can't see her with Aragorn even though there's chemistry. They just don't seem to compliment each other as well as Arwen compliments Aragorn (in the books.)
Eowyn is the character defining the empowerment of women. Even though women were considered weaker, she still kicks some major Nazgul butt and saves the day. How awesome is she?

Eowyn
What did you think of her?
A great character!! I love her!
Do you think she and Aragorn would've made a better couple than he and Arwen? Nope, for me, Arwen was the only one for Aragorn. Faramir and Eowyn is awesome! I love Faramir too, so I was like "YES!!" I liked Eowyn and Faramir's romance better than Aragorn and Arwen's.
Did you think she was an interesting character or did you think she was just a pain.
Definately an interesting character! I loved her struggle with Aragorn, with King Theoden and than she's in battle and does some serious damage with Merry! She's great!

Re: Eowyn
lol Lea!
I agree, Baz, I liked Eowyn and Faramir's romance better than Arwen and Aragorn's. I thought it was sad how Arwen went away to Lorien after Aragorn died and dwelt there by herself.

Re: Eowyn
What did you think of her? Miranda Otto did a fantastic job with the character. I love Eowyn because she's got deep stuff going on. I love the kind of characters that make you think!
Do you think she and Aragorn would've made a better couple than he and Arwen? Well, Aragorn and Eowyn may seem more "right" for each other, but Aragorn and Arwen were just perfect. There is no reason they should be separated.
Did you think she was an interesting character or did you think she was just a pain: She was definitely an interesting character! As I said before, she's one of those characters that makes you think.

Re: Eowyn
What did you think of her?
I love her, she's my favourite character from the films. I think she's the most interesting of the few females in the story. She's gutsy, strong, independent and has great fashion sense. She's a very modern woman in a lot of ways and the fact that Tolkien wrote her makes up for the scarcity of females in this tale, for me anyway.
Do you think she and Aragorn would've made a better couple than he and Arwen?
Well, I think practically speaking it would have been easier for everyone involved if Aragorn had been paired with Eowyn instead of Arwen! No painful decisions or unrequited love to deal with, but where's the fun in that?! No, I think Aragorn
and Arwen are perfect together. He'd die for her, and she'd die for him, can't say fairer than that. *sigh*
Did you think she was an interesting character or did you think she was just a pain.
lol. Interesting. :goof:
