 How should ROTK end?
If you had your way, how would PJ wrap up the trilogy? Where? When? With whom?
Describe your perfect ending.

That's what I'd like too, and it seems to be quite likely that they're going to do an epilogue with a voice over with Galadriel.
Is there anyone who would rather they stuck to the book ending, with Sam in the Shire?

I thought the Shire ending was so perfect. It was the end of the tale, all was said and done. The hobbits had come and done their job. The earth was at peace, all was well. And then everyone could enjoy the wonderful free earth they had fought for. *sighs* It was so touching and def. fit in. :yes:
(But I wouldn't mind seeing another ending!!)

When you put it that way, it does sound a lovely way to end. 
My perfect ending would be if they finished the main body of the film with Lemon's description, in the Shire with Sam and "Well, I'm back." It would be like beginning it with Frodo under the tree. But then I'd be hoping that's not the end, because I won't want it to finish! So I really hope it's true about the epilogue and we see a bit of the lives of the rest of the Fellowship and the fate of races after the Ringbearers depart, with Galadriel narrating again. It would just tie everything up nicely I think, and give it all a bit of symmetry.
If we ended with a glimpse of Valinor itself I will be so thrilled. I would prefer a lyrical, otherworldly ending for all of it, because it's been so magical to me.
