Ah, Lem, remember in all the stories my house has "2 floors" How can a hobbit hole have two floors? And Elrond insisted that if we were to live in Rivendell, we were to have a Rivendell-ish looking house. Don't worry, next month Frodo and I are planning to visit the Shire for a extended period of time with the twins.  But even tho living in HH was different, you get to love it after a while
But yes, I do miss Hobbit holes too! 
And *snort* I just thought of this
Can you imagine a HOBBIT hole in RIVENDELL! :laugh:

Number one, there's such beauty and peace in Rivendell. And Frodo was rather tired off life in the Shire, as I was eventually. So Rivendell seemed like a nice beautiful, quiet, and peaceful place to live. But we still visit the Shire, for it is a part of us! We will be visiting it soon, yes we will!

Lem, she gave Sandybanks Ridge to Rea, her and Frodo must have somewhere to go to be alone! I think HH looks
perfect, tucked in the mountainside of Rivendell!
