Re: Harry Potter
Yeah...Book 6. Lol.
I didn't think Arthur would be the minister of magic...I don't think he wanted it. Nor (do I think) would he have done a very good job with it. Arthur comes across to me as the kind that isn't very good around large groups of people, because he seems like a grown up form of Fred and George. But that's just me.
My immediate thought to the connection btwn. HBP and COS (as she mentioned on her site, it's more of a discovery that Harry made)...is that it would be either Parseltounge, or maybe the preservation of memory, in the way Tom Riddle did it. I can't think of anything else off the top of my head. Parseltounge would be the most likely I think...but because it's most likely, it probably isn't it. Go figure.
If only Mark Evans had been who we wanted! *sigh*

Re: Harry Potter
Good observation Bee. I agree about Arthur, too. The Ministry of Magic seems like a negative influence for the most part, which seems fitting to the plot of the books. Having Arthur be Minister would take a lot of that weight off. I hope someone we like does replace Fudge though, in the future.

Re: Harry Potter
Won't be so far in the future, Nath. JKR said that we get a new Minister in the next book
