I was wondering how many of you all were planning to go see "The Passion" My Church is going as a group next Friday evening. :yes: I'm so excited!! :glad:

I guess this is going to be a discussion topic on the movie. emoticon

What are your feelings on the movie? All comments are welcome.

I am so excited for this movie! My parents are seeing it tonight..in fact, they're there right now. I didn't go because 1. I had to babysit, and 2. I wouldn't be able to handle the gore. I know this is such a controversial thing, but I think it's awesome that Mel Gibson put his career on the line with this production.

I saw the movie last night and it was very good! emoticon I reccommend everyone to go see it. To me, the violence and gore is to be expected. But to me, I've heard the story of Christ's Death Burial and Ressurection all of my life, so I guess I was prepared for most of the violence. (I was expecting it) I don't think that I'd like to see it aagain b/c it's like watching someone die slowly. emoticon And I like to look on the happier side of things anyways...I'd only buy the DVD to support the DVD sales, I probably wouldn't watch it.... emoticon

It's extremely graphic, but I thought it was powerful, I loved it, the acting, the message, and the music.
