Ragman

He's one of my favorite background heros and it was so cool to see him featured in Day of Vengeance.

I think Ragman would be a great costume for you. Sometimes I wish I had a more slender build so I could do more of a variety of characters.

Ah Mr. Wayne, I have come to the conclusion that some us are built for one set of characters and others for others. It is what keeps the comics and life interesting.

Ragman looks very interesting!

Sometimes it's a real pain being skinny, like when you want to do a really convincing Batman. I have to wear a really uncomfortable padded muscle suit just so I don't look ridiculous.

But then I thought about some of the other characters who actually are skinny and that I could pull off more convincingly like Riddler, Scarecrow and Ragman.

Emma, you have a good point. Paul, you pull off a very convinving Batman. Sorry to hear about the uncomfortable muscle suit but if it's one thing i've learned; we costumers are rarely comfortable when suited up. If i let you try on my Blade suits, you'd probably be overly excited about jumping back into the batsuit, lol

Your Riddler is coming along nicely and I think you'd be an awesome Scarecrow and Ragman as well

That's actually why I can't do the latex suit. (Which is ok since I definitly prefer the comic style suits) I couldn't pull it off without the padded muscle suit and I'd probably die if I tried to wear that with a wet suit on top of it!

As you say, it's just the price of fame.

Here's a good rule of thumb. Sometimes when I feel the most uncomfortable in a costume (for example, at a convention) i'll hurry up and head to the bathroom and look in a mirror to see what I look like. Normally nothing is out of place and the costume still looks good. So when i'm walking around and posing, i'll have the knowledge that I still look the part regardless of my comfort level and i just power on through the day. So yeah, we definitely pay the price for fame.

I can only imagine wearing a skintight wetsuit with latex pieces glued to it and not being able to move my head (ouch!). Personally I want an entire Returns suit in the future. I think it's a good thing that you prefer the comic style suits because you don't cook as much in it.

Yes, I remember seeing your costume up close and it's a nice piece of work. Now only if a batsuit could breathe like your costume..........LOL

Yes. It was actually a mistake for me to play Jean Grey. My large frame doesn't jive with the character. That's why I've always played Amazons. If I can pull off my next project I should play it well. I'm body building again just for the character.
