The seed has been planted and the research has started.
Originally, I was thinking that 2006 would see the debut of an X-Wing pilot's uniform in my "closet", however, the more I think about it, the more I want to put that on the backburner, or scrap...
The reason behind it, a character that I have loved since I was a child. (Yes, it's STAR WARS related). Ok, I already have a Biker Scout, TIE Pilot, Imperial Officer is in the works, and I do have my Jedi Knight...
They are all great and I love them to death, but there is one character that I have always dreamed of doing. Boba Fett!!!!!
I've been looking at pictures of his costume, and even watched 'Empire' again last night, just to see his costume. Why? He's so cool. The wookiee scalps/braids, the cape, jetpack, the armor... his gun! He is an icon. Jango was great, but Boba, in my opinion, is better! Will this be done in 2006? I have no idea, but I believe that this will be the next costume I work on!

Boba Fett is definitely one of the greats from the Star Wars saga (my fave next to Vader himself) and I think that would be an excellent costume to tackle. Keep us posted and good luck with it.

Well, I guess this should now be moved from this area to current projects as the work has started on the costume. I have ordered the armor today!
Now, I know the next line of questions you all have will be... "what's it made from? Styrene?" nope, "Sintra" NO WAY!, "ABS" uh uh...
My armor is being made out of.... SHEET METAL! That's right, SHEET METAL!
Fully painted and weathered to look like ESB Boba too! I'll get the full set (chest plates, stomach, neck, shoulders, groin, kidney plate, back plate and knees.)
So, as soon as I get it, I'll get pictures and post it for you to see!
