My costume history (photos included) I thought i'd start off the Lair's costume section by displaying my costume history. I started out by dawning the cape and cowl of the 89 Batsuit (with 92 Returns cowl)
Next I was inspired by some good friends and my wife (best friend) to become Blade, the Daywalker
Shortly after that, I was approached by an amazing prop master and Ghostbuster enthusiast (Bryan Fear) to do a character much more relaxed and care free than the Bat or Daywalker.............Winston Zeddemore!
My next character was alot of fun. I decided to do Green Lantern in all leather! Everyone thought I was crazy at first but the end result proves otherwise:
Re: My costume history (photos included) Great idea to have a bigger site and what a wonderful display of some of your past costumes, Al.
Here's a few of my past moments:
In the early 90's I tried the latest style of Batman. I wore this suit for quitea few years, but this is the only picture I have of it.
Then a few years agao, my wife this one together.
Doctor Strange
The year after that, I made another attempt at a Batman, but the belt was only a hint of what I was really wanting to do with the character.
Then, in 2004, I FINALLY got my dream costume put together by the help of so many talented people on the web.
The Classic Adam West
I wore it at SDCC 2004 along with my wife, Vickie, in her our scratch built Wonder Woman suit ( Mach 1 )and met some great people.
The Batsuit has evolved and has been fine tuned over the past year. Still with the help of those fine Bat-craftsmen across the country.
Now, after some good fortune to meet Batmobile creator, George Barris, and just finding fun things to do, I'm getting to be Batman MANY times a year and have so many fun-filled adventures ( many time along with my wife as Wonder Woman or Batgirl).
Re: My costume history (photos included) It's great to have you onboard Scott, thanks for joining. The old group is too cluttered so I wanted to try and make a change for the better. Hopefully more of the old gang will join before I really start advertising this place.
I always like to look back at the humble beginning, the origin so to speak. It's good to see your earlier pics. I remember seeing them before but not in such detail (new forum benefit!).
Re: My costume history (photos included) It's great to see you join Knight of Honour. I really like your batsuits and they are more than impressive especially if they're your first suits. Cool boots too!
Re: My costume history (photos included) Al,
I just saw your picture on the Comics Book Guide, (CBG) issue 1516. It was taken at Wonder Con, you were wearing the Green Lantern costume.
