 Blade VEST question (PLEASE help me!)
Hello gang,
I just joined up here today. I am a member of the Blade Trinity Fourm, but I really don't ever post. I know Mr Wayne from over there and hello! Thanks to you I was able to track down a LOT of awesome things like the official Blade sword and glaive and stuff! I appreciate all the help! 
Lets see, I am a HUGE Blade and Batman fan and am working on my own replica costume. And the reason I am writing is my nearly 12 month search for a Blade 1 movie replica VEST.
My search actually was most intense last October, November, and December. I spent MONTHS writing, emailing, and visiting people from all over about an exact replica vest from the first Blade movie and almost NO ONE would help me! All I want to do is dress up on Halloween and have a life sized Blade mannequin like other people online.
So, since so many of you have AWESOME costumes I thought I would ask for help. I found one place, costumejunkies online, but their Blade 1 vest is really awful. And I am not being rude, but I just dont care for their vest. It does NOT look great.
Anyway, if you have leads, PLEASE email me and let me know. At this point, I have just about given up on finding one. My wife and I tried to create a replica, but after about 6 weeks, we gave up. It was just too hard.
Thanks for your time. Oh! By the way, I am a Youth Minister and part time social worker here in Arkansas and just LOVE comic books and superheros! That is my hobby!

Well, this is actually kind of funny. I didnt realize that I had TWO login accounts to runboard. That shows you how many FORUMS I was once a part of. It got insane last year. I guess I am glad my computer died. LOL Anyway, I am back up and running on my new computer and now that our baby girl is 7 months old - I can get back on track starting my Blade and Batman costumes.
I had originally wanted to do the Blade 1 costume first, but I am going for the Blade 2 costume as my first one. It is beautiful, thought more ornimental - where as the Blade 1 vest looked completely functional for hunting vampires. The Blade 2 vest really just looks awesome, but doesnt seem to serve any real functionality for fighting vampires. LOL Dont see TOO many vampires in Arkansas. haha
Anyway, I will be casting my own silver stakes out of resin or plaster, so they will be safe. And then I plan on casting the Factory X Blade Daywalker sword just for safety reasons. With my luck, if I took the real one to a Convention, some kid would take it and poke me with it! LOL
