Camping in Yosemite

So, Jess, Kris and I will be going to Yosemite for a few days on June 18-21. Anyone interested in going? If so, please let me know ASAP... like, within a day or two.

UPDATE: I think I'm going to have to change it to the beginning of June instead... June 4-7. Due to work issues.

Oooooo sounds like fun! But I don't know...that's right after Micah's bday and father's day. We might be a little low on funds.

Well Janoa and I can't go emoticon emoticon she's got school, I can get off of work, but she can't miss that many days of school... If you ever think of maybe emoticon goin on a friday - monday, we might be able to attend.

Johanna and I actually were thinking of going to Yosemite this year anyway and I just noticed that Tasha's plans fall in the middle of the week. It would be better for us to go during the weekend too. Maybe we can do a weekend trip together... whaddya think? Maybe during summer vacation?? They have hotel type places or cabins there so we don't have to tent it (we wouldn't be able to do that with the babies anyway).

I suppose we can do a weekend thing... June 8-11 would still work for me. Not sure if this would interest you, because the hotels IN the valley are really expensive, but they do have canvas tents...with bunk beds. You won't have to pitch a tent, but it's one of the closest ways of camping there is... I found some that are for $87/night. One cavas tent holds up to 4 people, I think. And Curry Village is right in the middle of Yosemite Valley.

Staying at a hotel in the weekend is AT LEAST double the price per night.

The thing is you have to book very very soon, which is why I was asking now.

I guess if we can just establish the dates, maybe we can at least be there at the same time and stuff, but we don't have to be in the same lodging, eh?

June 8-11 still works for me, and that's a Friday-Monday. The following weekend may work as well.

That would be a wonderful trip if we can pull it off! I gotta check and see if they have cabins out there, which im assumin they do. Cuz khaleb's not gonna be able to stay inna tent. So ill check and get back to ya.
