Wednesday
I just want to praise God for getting us through yesterday. There was a lot involved so I'll tell you guys about it at The Fire.
I look forward to learning more about all of you, too. I think we had a great time of fellowship last week.

Ok, well I never got to share what happened so I'll post it here before I forget. Here's the short version of what happened that day...
Micah woke up early that day and I got frustrated because I was tired....I ended up snapping at Beejay. But I repented right away because I had just studied at the Wmns Bible Study the night before about how our mind is a battlefield. How we think reflects in how we act. We can't let the enemy get a foothold in our thoughtlife. So I apologized to Beejay before he left for work.
Then, Satan tried to get me down again. I got a parking ticket because my bumper was sticking out into the red zone (in front of our condo). At first I didn't get too upset because I figured that I deserved it because - the fact is - a part of my car was in the red zone. But then I started to think about how there was a stolen car parked out there for FOUR DAYS and the police didn't do anything about it until we called it in. Me and Beejay's cars have been vandalized several times...and what do the cops do? They just drive on by without a second glance (btw, cops drive by our area a lot). But when the bumper of my car is sticking into the red zone, they suddenly have the time to give me a parking ticket! I had to ask the Holy Spirit to help me calm down...I knew Satan was just trying to attack but I wasn't going to let him get the best of me!
So that night we went to Bible Study. On our way there, my car started to overheat again (3rd time in a month). After the Bible Study, we were driving to Pastor Ed's house to get the car checked out. Don't you know my car sounded worse and worse with every second that passed by? By the time we got to their street, my car was clunking and chugging along...it died right when we pulled into the driveway! Anyways, we switched cars with Ken so that Pastor Ed could take a closer look at it.
Finally, we came home looking forward to winding down and watching the season premiere of Lost. We set the VCR to record Lost while we were at church, so we sat down and played the tape. Guess what happened? WE RECORDED THE WRONG CHANNEL!!!
It was a long day but God gave us the victory over Satan! The enemy was trying to use a bunch of little irritations to get us angry, frustrated, and unhappy. But God gives us the strength to endure and rise above all the devil's crap! PRAISE GOD!!!

I bet you were sayin TGIT (thank God its thursday)  , but PRAISE GOD you guys made it through that day!!!
