GENERAL HELLOS
Hi everyone,
all seems very quiet here at present, hope everyone's well and happy. If not I wish for you a speedy recovery or uplift.Me, I've had a few seriously bad days, with some good results, which when I find some more time I will share with you. Amazing how once things start to change in your life so many things can happen at once. I had three incidents to deal with on Tuesday that ought do me for a long time I think. Not to worry, I'm sorting through it all and finding answers as to why and maintaing a positive outlook.
take care,
smile and be happy,
flick.

Hi!
I am around ... I haven't been on the net with force for about a year ... then all of a sudden, last week, I became *addicted* to it again. It is really weird
I am sorry you are going through so much ... if it is anything that you would like someone to listen to, please feel free to email me ( oceanwench38@hotmail.com).

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hi everyone,
So hey where are ya' all? It's pretty quiet around here at the moment. No, not guilt trips, mere enquiry as to if all is well with each of you. So, John started painting landscapes yet? Watercolours or pastels and how's the writing? OSheen I hope you're doing fine.
Take care
smile and be happy

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hi, I'm back
The job took a little longer as there was some extra work and also the last can of paint didn't match and that made the finishing "interesting".
I also spent a couple of days catching up with a old friend and even went to a bar!!!! and a BIG hairy guy wanted to give me a kiss Actually I felt he was wanting to pick a fight as he was hitting on Jen, the friend I was with. There is a lot more to it and I'll post it in my journal.
I had a call tonight from the woman whose cottage I painted and she while she's happy with the paint job, she doesn't like the colour and might want me to re-paint it. I asked her why she didn't like the colour green and she said that it reminded her of her childhood and that everywhere they moved, her mother painted everything green. She denied that she had any childhood issues and I left it at that, "just planting a seed".
cheers,
Johnnie Apple Seed

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hi all,
just thought I'd stick a HELLO in and see how you all are? The message board states to post anything in here tp either say hi or something off the topic, well, guess what I'm certainly off the topic (so to speak) but can't see myself fitting in the pc so guess Hi will have to be it.
Anyways I hope all is well with everyone, OSheen, hope life is treating you kindly, more to the point I hope you're being kind to yourself!
smile and be happy,
Flick.

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hello to whomever may be reading this, if you're visiting, welcome, browse and feel free to share.
Searching for one John, lost in the depths of a paint can?
I have been very busy with my journey, have been crafting, which I haven't touched for 5 years!, wonderful way to express myself! I've made scented and coloured candles, a lamp stand, MY dream catcher and a couple of other crystal and shell hangings, there's a story behind them (ME), which I'll share in my journal soon. Painting, sewing, drilling, you name it I've had a go again in the last four days....no kids...mum's time out! I have also done some more regressive work, inlcuding my teenage years, which is are proving to be the hardest. That Inner Critic would have to be the biggest pain in the proverbial I've come across, just won't let up. It caught me a beauty yesterday and sat within for quite a few hours, I gave it the biggest kick when I realised what was going on. I also had an out of body experience which was pretty awesome, very short, physically a little uncomfortable upon re-entering, unusal maybe is a better way to explain it. Unusal to me!
Much to write, I've been mentally relaxing though.
Hey take care all,
smile, be happy and float freely!
Felicity

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
[col=#0000cc]Hi everyone,
I'm back .........sorta....kind of!
Actually I've been back over a week but I've had a lot going on recently and needed some time for myself. I've actully written close to 250 note book pages in my journal these past two months and I'll be posting some of it in my journal when I get moved to do so and I'll try and hit the high lites so that you would have to spend a weekend reading it.
Flick,
since you're the only one with a journal, besides myself, I've been re-thinking the journal format and I was thinking of changing it so that people could reply directly in the journals. That would also open us and others to anothers input, insights or questions that could further the healing process and also help others who also wannt to share. Let me know what you think.
Cheers
John[/col]

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
hi all,
glad to see you back John. I have been on the opposite end of the stick this last week actually, simply enjoying myself with my partner and children. Last weekend we were 8 in total for three days so that certainly kept me on my toes. I decided to have a rest from the actual research and study, I'm active in my healing daily though and I have now had quite a long stretch of happy times. One tool I have found very useful is to feel free and comfortable enough to express myself openly and honestly regardless.. no denial of self. It's quite amazing how open and honest communication can make such a difference to ones life!! Believe that life is worth living and your belief will help create the fact. Accepting that it's ok for me to be happy without attempting to sabotage that happiness has been a wonderful thing for me.
I will find some time towards the end of this week onwards to post some more, particularly in my journal. Yes John, I think your idea is a good one, re. allowing others to respond through our journals. I don't have an issue with that. It could actually be quite a good thing.
Must travel, take care all,
smile, be happy and float freely.
Flick.

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hiya all,
Well I have some fantastic news to share which I'm going to save for my journal as it's all part and parcel of my journey. I hope everyone is well and gosh I hope you're all finding the peace and happiness you deserve. I have little quotes written on pieces of card stuck to my monitor that have helped me get to the point I am so I'm going to share them all; "Rather than reacting or responding to circumstance 'try initiating change' ". "Humilty and confidence V Ego"....that's a good one for me. "For sucess: focus on the purpose". "Be my own self hero". I felt that on Thursday! The next two are my favourites; "Belief Creates" and "Optimisim is a Powerful Tool", the later being the one I repeat the most often. Something that I always try to bear in mind and "USE" is "that for every negative there is a positive". Instead of focusing and wallowing on the negative, look for the positive. Then focus on that, initiate change and enjoy the result. I recieved a bookmark the other day that states: "What the future holds for you depends on what you hold for the future", I thought that so appropriate, so very true, we can shape our own future and have control of the direction we take whilst doing that. I feel anyway.
I'm going to get busy with my journal entry, it's been a little while, I've penned plenty though.
Smile, be happy and float freely.
Open hands, open heart.
Flick.

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hi Flick,
I'd like to make a brief comment on part of what you said as I feel that you need to really look and feel the words as they are twisted and reversed, and while they may appear to be "loving" and "positive", they are anything but. The words are:
quote: Something that I always try to bear in mind and "USE" is "that for every negative there is a positive". Instead of focusing and wallowing on the negative, look for the positive. Then focus on that, initiate change and enjoy the result. I recieved a bookmark the other day that states: "What the future holds for you depends on what you hold for the future",
Delving and feeling into what you considered was "negative" was what brought you the "positive" joy and the re-claiming of lost fragments. This "quote" sets up a program that is in reversal to what you were doing and will stop your healing process. Focusing on only the "positive" and denying anything "negative," that isn't pleaseant is what we've been doing all our lifetimes.
Food for thought
John

Re: GENERAL HELLOS
Hi John,
Contradictory;
I have spent most of my life "Focusing on the NEGATIVE" not the positive. I am trying to say that as of late when I come across something upleasant, I don't deny it, I acknowledge it and then look for the positivity from within the experience. It enables me to move through it instead of "Wallowing in it".
belief creates,
Flick
