Hi Everyone,
I pulled this journal entry off my computer as I felt I needed to share this with those that are ready to hear these words.
Black and White 2001 Feb 28
I had a dream/vision of this line or fence between love and evil early this morning. This line was so fine that not even an atom, electron or even a quark could not sit or balance on it and even if they tried this line moved and vibrated to shake it off to either one side or the other. I saw this line also as the edge of a sword, the sword of truth.
At the time of the dream/vision I felt this applied to all the so-called and wantabe "enlightened fence sitters, for them to get on one side of the line or the other. I have had a issue all my life with fence sitters and people that would say to me, why does everything have to be so black and white with you, or You make everything impossible, life isnt like that, you have to compromise. For me there was always a choice to be made. To me no decision; one way or the other, always felt like it was a choice and a decision, even though others denied they were making a choice or decision. They would say it was a wait and see attitude to get more facts or whatever they felt was necessary to make the right decision. To me it felt like a lie and didn't feel good at the time but I never associated a lie with denial and unloving light until recently.
So anyway, back to the dream/vision. Later that morning after breakfast, I was discussing this dream with Irene when I realized what it really was all about. It was about love and evil, unlovingness and the thin line or veil between them, or the opposite sides of the coin, duality. The insight that I got was actually first using the line between the words denial and acceptance.
There are varying degrees of denial, and this is where the shades of gray come in; all the way from pitch black to almost white. Acceptance on the other side of the line has no limits, conditions or degrees. Acceptance is acceptance. Think about it. If you have acceptance, what conditions do you have on it and how far can it go before you say, that is not acceptable? Acceptance can be near the line or a trillion miles or years away, it doesnt matter, it just IS acceptance, plain and simple.
Next came the words lies and truth. All the way from the little white lie to a blatant lie, and on the other side was the openness of truth, and again, plain and simple truth, far and wide.
Next came the words conditional love and Love. Conditional love and all its endless definitions and descriptions, degrees, limitations and confusion. It went all the way up to the edge of the line with only the tiniest condition or denial present and this is also where the shades of gray come in; all the way from pitch black to almost white, almost unconditional love, but NOT. On the other side of the line was unconditional love, open and unlimited. I saw this beautiful state of calmness; reflected like a body of calm water, just BEing love, total oneness, an Ok-ness, peace, harmony, balance and a knowing. There were no words to describe it, other than, A state of being. And again, no matter where you went, close to the line or a trillion miles away, it was still unconditional love.
Further insights were that when we are in denial, we are, or rather a part of us is in unloving lights grip on the other side of the line, on his turf so to speak, and as such, we are doers of evil, even though we are of love essence. When we are in denial, we become the doers of evil. Denial is non-acceptance and there is no love in denial. The little white lie and deceit is also denial and is not the truth or love.
I also saw that when we have awareness and intent to heal and end denials, that there is this higher-self conscious aspect of us that is standing near the line on unconditional loves side. It is able to reach over the line and make this other part of us that is on denials unloving side, aware of its situation and of the choice of our true self, to wanting love and life. But it is the part of you that is in denial that must reach for the hand that is extended from your higher self. Only in this manner is our higher self able to assist and lift out the part of us that is in denial and involved in doing evil to self and to others, and it is able to bring that part over to loves side. This is how we are going to have to heal ourselves and reclaim our lost essence and power. Again it is being in the world but not of it, Being in the world of denial but not of the world of denial.
Denial can be any number of things, from denial of our fears to denial of our gifts, talents and power. How can we own what we deny? It is impossible! How can you become whole, everything that you are if you deny any part of what you are? Its so simple, so black and white, yet at the same time it is so complex and gray because we are still caught up in evils side of the line where there is unlovingness, denial, lies, guilt and shame.
That is all I can remember at this moment.
