To say that this board will be controversial is an understatement as it goes against almost everything society presently believes to be true about emotions, feelings, life and love. But then why wouldn't it be controversial if the desire and goal is the opposite of what is presently being experienced! To empower yourself, you need to be open to challenge everything you believe to be true, especially about love, life, emotions and feelings and also be willing to end your denials of self.

I openly share the knowledge, tools, messages and insights that I've gained through sixteen years of intensive personal experience and in working with others on their journey. Feel free to visit the various forums and posts and to also add your personal experiences, comments and questions. It is my intent that the ideas and works that will be discussed within this forum will not only expand your consciousness, but also activate your emotions and touch your heart.

Inner and Outer Child

So now we get to what I consider to be the most important work of all, your inner most being and essence. Your subconscious mind and body holds your memories, experiences, hurts, fears and traumas, as well as your joys and pleasures and it is important to know that these memories are not limited to your brain, but that they are stored in your entire body and cells. While a conscious part of you wants to go to these memories to heal them, there is another part of your consciousness that doesnt want to go there, especially to the painful and hurt parts and experiences. This is where the internal conflict and battle has been raging to prevent you from becoming and being who you are. And while it can be denied, postponed or blamed on other people, places and things, ultimately you will have to take responsibility for all aspects of yourself and you will have to make a choice. There are other many other aspects involved in this inner battle, but for now we will focus on acknowledging that there are lost parts of us that need to be re-claimed and healed.
To do this inner work, we basically follow the same guide lines as outlined in visualizations, or past life regression but now applying it to the inner and outer child. I will not be giving you detailed examples of a journey as I feel that by now you have a good idea of how that works. I will basically get you started and then outline points to observe and identify if youre either going to be the one looking for your Inner and Outer child, or if you will be the one guiding a person in this work.

Before you begin this journey you will need to prepare yourself by going through the basics techniques of breath, grounding, relaxing, centering yourself, see Meditation for details.

Our intent this day is to journey back in this life time to whatever experience or experiences we need to explore and heal, that servers our highest purpose and good. It is important to allow yourself to share whatever you see, hear and to express any emotions you feel. Allow yourself to ask any questions you may have and to also answer any questions asked of you as you are guided on this journey to find your inner or outer child.

The journey: Now, visualize a blue mist before you and allow yourself to move out from your place of centre and to slowly move into the mist. It might be blue or green or whatever other colour is appropriate. You may not see a mist and that is OK too, you may just sense or feel that you are in the mist or somewhere outside your physical body. You are about to begin your journey and when you return, you will come back to this place in the mist before returning to your body. (Short pause) Tell me when you feel you are in this mist, this space feeling safe and secure? (Pause) Waiting for a yes, Im in the mist.

Q Moving through the mist now, back in this lifetime, allow yourself to stop at the first significant experience that you need to see, feel, and remember for your healing. (Pause)
A Im about 6 years old and Im crying.
Q Tell me what youre feeling and why you are crying? (Pause)
As stated, the rest of the journey is basically conducted like a past life regression. Sometimes the person will have only one experience and other times it will be several. Sometimes it will be one emotion, and several experiences, and other times it will be several emotions in the same experience. You will just have to use your intuition to know when or where to go with these journeys. When you feel its time for them to return ask them if there is anything else they need to do before returning, if the answer is no, the journey is over.

Returning: It is now time to return, to end your journey and to re-enter the blue mist, (Pause) Let me know when you are back in the mist? (Short pause) Waiting for the reply yes, Im going back in the mist. Now allow yourself to come back through the mist to outside your physical body, resting comfortably, safe and secure, let me know when you are back to this place? (Pause, again waiting for a, yes, Im back) Now, bring back all your power and essence pertaining to the Earth plane and this physical body in the here and now. (Short pause) Now slowly leave the mist and return to your physical body, to your place of centre in the middle of your head, between your ears and eyes, the place where you began your journey, resting comfortable, secure and at peace. (Short pause) Now slowly allow yourself to begin to feel your consciousness returning to your physical body. Begin to move your fingers and toes and to slowly move your neck and head. (Short pause) Take a few slow, deep breaths and when youre ready, begin to move the rest of your body, your shoulders, arms, and feet. (Short pause) Youre now fully conscious and aware of everything that happened to you on your journey that you need to remember at this time. (Short pause) When you are ready, you can slowly open your eyes.

Integrating: Stay in your seated position for a few minutes and reflect on your experience and the feeling in your body. If you had a friend guiding you, then after a few moments you can share your experience with them, or if you keep a diary or journal you can write your experiences. As previously mentioned, it is desirable to express your emotions as youre feeling and experiencing them, but if you become emotional after your journey, then allow the emotions to move and express them as you can. Also express yourself to express your fear of expressing or any other fears that may come up.

Notes: You will also need to refer to the insights and conclusion section of the book as there is a lot of information there that I dont want to repeat here. I mentioned earlier that traumatic events also cause altered states of consciousness where one is not able to recall any memory of their experience and that has ties to fragmentation and the outer child. While psychologists/psychiatrists are aware of what they call the inner child, the one that is locked up in your sub-conscious memory, they are NOT aware of what I have come to discover and call your outer child. The part of us that is not in our consciousness or even in our sub-consciousness memory, but is in our unconsciousness, lost in space and time. No one is able to help heal this lost part of you but YOU. And it is only you, the one that is reading this book that has to make the conscious intent and decision to go back for this lost part of yourself. Right now you may be having doubts that what I say is true because youd certainly remember any traumatic incident or lost child. But that is just the point Im making, you are NOT aware of this outer child because if you were, you wouldnt be searching and reading this book. Scary isnt it that I know what youre thinking. emoticon

It was my experience that I had to first work with what I knew, before I could work with what I didnt know. Makes sense, right? I had to first work with what was in my consciousness awareness and give that emotional and physical expression. The next step was to access my sub-consciousness and my inner child, allowing myself to move another layer of emotions as well as physical releases. This wasnt a one-time quick fix, but rather a slow and gradual process with release upon release, layer by layer, level upon level, to slowly build myself up to a point of becoming aware that there was a part of me that was outside myself. Then, there were more experiences and releases that finally enabled me to come to the realization that it was this part of me that I had been denying. Finally, to be able to accept that lost part of me as a part of myself, to bring conscious awareness to that part of me that was in my unconscious. Once I found him, I also discovered that there was another level I needed to heal and that was to express what he wanted to express and not what the I thought he wanted based on my old imprints, programs, and beliefs. All these little baby steps were needed to enable me to finally free that part of me, and freeing that part was only the beginning of freeing and healing other lost parts.

When someone remembers a childhood traumatic experience there are usually many issues and emotions involved. Sometimes the first experience touched is in adolescence but with further exploration, youre able to go back to earlier experiences. Sometimes theres a block and there is no conscious memory as it is blocked out by the sub-conscious mind. This can be locked in the sub-conscious as an inner child or fragmented and cast out into what I have come to call the outer child, or it can also be a past life issue. This aspect is very difficult to access as there is heavy conditioning and programming here that says do not remember. But once a break through and contact is made, it is then a gradual process of accepting the child, the experience and expressing all that was denied during the experiences. Its not a simple matter of merely contacting and expressing; it also needs to be brought into everyday experiences in order to heal. If there is only talk and a surface presentation of acceptance, the inner and outer child will feel betrayed, abandoned, heartbroken, hopelessness, and a host of other emotions which will also surface in the individuals consciousness now that contact has been made. The heartbreak and terror will continue to be experienced in its many forms, if the intent is to merely talk and not to walk your talk. This is a key stage here as denial will only serve to lengthen the healing process or to halt it all together if that is your choice.
