"what makes me, me"
I have just come to the conclusion that "who am I" is no longer applicable to myself and so have now begun another.....What makes Me, Me. No, not a question, a statement. I'm not asking someone else what am I am. I am beginning to understand what I am and no one else can tell me else I may be , fragments of which I will piece back together, layer upon layer.
Me, some of the music I love, to change the beat; am listening to Little Feat at present, love English earlier punk, Cure, Collective soul, Like Billy Bragg's style, love Led Zeplin, hey even clasical, Joe ****er is superb.
Dylan, Guthries. To name a few, oh and how could I forget; U2, of course!
That'll be it I reckon.
smile and be happy
felicity.

Re: "what makes me, me"
Hello,
I have something to add to what I am, from someone else's opnion that I found very amusing, also true; I was told that I'm strange! Very loving, amusing and interesting, but strange! I love the fact that someone whom I care about has noticed that I am an individual and yes I am NOT the NORM.Which is just the way I like to be. I've said for many many years that I'm not a sheep following blindly behind the next wooly rear end! Accepting that it's great to be what you are not what everyone else expects you to be is just so choice! Oh and of course not only accepting it, BEING IT with no reservations is even better. I caught up with two separate friends that I haven't seen for a couple of months and they both commented on how happy and peaceful I seemed to be, that I was being different!
I have much self growth to go, which I am looking forward to now, I'm not scared of change anymore, I've seen too many positive results in the last month particularly to be afeared.
Open hands open heart.
float freely
flick.

Re: "what makes me, me"
Hi Richie,
Welcome to the Heart Centre and yes, I do hope you will introduce yorself.
Yes, things are a little slow here at the moment.. I've kinda dropped out for the summer as a lot of old and new stuff has been coming up for me to process. It's funny how you think you kinda think you have some things figured out and then the universe throws you a wammy. Like a kid in school learning to add and subtract and then the teacher says, now lets divide!!!!
I've written well over 500 pages in my journal this summer, way too much to post. I'll try and simplify what I've experienced and learned and post it soon.
