The Perfect Cast?
I'm sure this has been discussed before at the old forum(s),probably many times. But I missed it if it was, so...
Let's say an absolutely perfect version of an LoEG movie script has come out. No new characters, new settings, or new villains. Mina is not a vampire, and Skinner was the name of Griffin's albino Guinea pig who was kicked to death. So... who would you cast in the major roles? Oh, and let me add: you're not allowed to use any of the people who are in the actual movie. Sorry.

Allan - Malcolm McDowell (I just like him) or maybe Michael Cane
Mina - Helena Bonham Carter? What's her face Sawahla? (aargh, can't remember her name! she's from a brit TV show, called Absolutely Fabulous, I think)
Bond - Rhys-Davies?
Nemo - Don't know his name, but he was the guy who played Sandokan, and was in Ashanti with Michael Cane.
The rest I have no idea.

On a movie. If they can find a way to do it perfectly in live action, I'm all for that, but until then, I want to see it in perfect animation. It would be so cool!
Ok. For actors orry if I don't spell all of these right. I am in a huge hurry. I will use only living actors. I also did a one person casting for Jeckyll/Hyde.
The League-
Allan: Ian McKellen
Mina: Winona Ryder (pluis she needs a good movie bad!)
Griffin: Gary Oldman
Jeckyll/Hyde: John Malkovich(Gary was also my first choice for this, because he could handle both personalities with ease,b but I'd rather "see" him as Griffin. Steve Buscemi is my second, but I wasn't sure he could handle the accent. Then I stumbled upon the answer: John. Given he lost a little weight for the Jeckyll part, which isn't to say that he's fat, he would be perfect.
Villians-
Moriarty: Christopher Lee
Champion Bond: Bob Hoskins (with an English accent, which he does very well, and some pillows)
The Doctor: James Hong
Holmses-
Sherlock: Adrian Brody (aged a little bit CGI, or it would be a while until this came out, so 10 years of natural aging and he'd be perfect).
Mycroft: Anthony Hopkins (the proper hair coloring and strategically placed pillows he'd be great)

Since we are talking about "Dream" cast, I just dream that fine actors wouldn't die or grow old.
So my "dream" Mina: Jean Simmons (or maybe Maureen O'hara, but she's red-headed)
And someone else suggested that on another board (I can't remember if at DC or yahoo): Peter O'Toole as Quatermain!! he could be perfect to play him properly old, decayed and disenchanted... (and not as a "Super-Quatermain" with "Telescopic sight")
Nite Owl's choice for Jekyll is great!!: Buscemi could play wonderfully sickened!!
