I think Connery plays the same part over and over again these days. I loved him in so many great movies (Man Who Would Be King, Untouchables, Zardoz  ) but he is becoming his own personal cliche.
Nevermind, I am disappointed at the amount of Sean on the trailer, sans opium daze and gaunt feebleness.
I can't add a thing more 'cos all the screaming makes me feel a little dizzy and sick. Will mature comic fans ever be treated like adults?
Anyone see the Gollum acceptance speech at the MTV Movie awards, I soiled my jeans. Oh and I laughed a little too.

Who the hell does he think he is? I don't recall him ever directing before (tell me if I'm wrong, I do hate these ill-informed self-righteous rants I go on), just 'cos our chief royal bint waves a posh cutlass over his head and lets him wear a kilt round Buckinham Palace, he thinks he can get all lordy with everyone.
To think I once liked the guy. Consider my Connery stalking days over!

Three things:
1) Very funny!
2) Your source either miss-quoted information or grossly exaggerated the situation. Sean isn't taking over the film. Both Norrington and producer Don Murphy have been quoted as saying that Norrington has final say on the cut, and that Sean merely added his ideas in (some of which were kept, others scrapped).
3) You are over acting. I wouldn't stop stalking him even if the reports weren't exaggerated (which they are).
