MM&HMM

What in the name of Transylvania are you two going on about? Must be a UK phenom only.
Probably.. but it shouldn't be, really.
Here's the information whatnot: MM&HMM at IMDb
It's like... hm. Blackadder's historical accuracy, combined with enough asides and witticisms to put the Simpsons to shame (..maybe just for UK people, though), then the double layers of a "Childrens" Comedy that is much more enjoyable when you understand it. Ish.

Re: Why? WHY?!
An aside on MM&HMM-
there was an episode about "fork tossing" where one of the characters said something to the effect of "it's ages since I had a good toss". I nearly spat my tea and biscuits all over auntie's rug.
Mind you, pales into insignificance beside Mr.Burns' use of the word "wankers". Now there's an episode they won't be showing in the U.K any time soon.

A-ha!
Guy's Forks Night... marvellous! It just works on so many levels: Children's Historical Drama, Children's Comedy, Adult Comedy, Erudite Entertainment, and, apparantly, Smutty TV...

...really?! Seems... unlikely. But then they have a lot of.. 'innuendo' going on between Burns and Smithers, so I suppose it was only a matter of time.
