What debauchery! Egad man I thought you were fellow of academic ilk, surely one would not find the students of this generation -who surely encapsulate the shining hope of the future of this glorious isle- involving themselves in such acts of depravity. I suppose you'll be telling us next that you put Hula Hoops on your fingers and parade around 'smoking' Cadbury's chocolate fingers!
As my colloquially articulate colleague TB would say- Word, dog! Though I'm a little confused as to what a bee -hatch is.

Oh, quite!
Odds teeth, I could never partake in the sliding-of-the-chocolate ritualisms, preferring more to recite my 'amo' declensions and follow Henry V onto the Breaches, there to rebuild the sandcastles of yesteryear... (or, in those days 'year').

Well, never the giant plastic ones...

Define 'parade', Sir, and I shall flout that scurrilous accusatory comment as well..!

..any word? Or one in particular...? How about... Pneumonoultramicroscopicsilicovolcanoconiosis..? Or... Canterbury..?

Ah... there I can help. This is more confused Americanic people who believe an 'Apiary' is for the more Orang-utine of our knuckle-equipped friends.
..and who haven't learnt the difference between 'Hatch' (a 'Back', like in the Gentleman's game of Rugger) and 'Hutch' (a septagenariac "cop").

Re: Rebotched
To tell the truth, League-dudes, I'm getting a little worried about ntnon....first there was the stuff about handling Gandalf's staff, now he wants to get into Henry's breeches....quote: Odds teeth, I could never partake in the sliding-of-the-chocolate ritualisms, preferring more to recite my 'amo' declensions and follow Henry V onto the Breaches, there to rebuild the sandcastles of yesteryear...
Can't you buy your own breeches, dude?
That's taking the 'sir' in sirrealism a little too personally, and the chocolate syrup stuff just sounds sticky and messy, you could stop up the gap with that choclate pud, not to speak of the opening in the bee-hatch.
Of course, when we speak of Batfink, there's another sort of hatch in mind.
I better close here; gotta put more air in the apiary.

Re: Christmas and otherwise.
All right, all right....just a little teasing about chocolates.
As someone once said, it's all in the context - or as Winston Churchill said;
"two great nations, separated by a common language."
