The Incomplete Enchanter

TB Sivana,
after you brought up DeCamp's Enchanter stories in our discussion about Conan in the Comics message board, I reread my copy of the book. Man, those stories never seem to get old, do they?
However, I just noticed that you mentioned "the Incomplete Enchanter".
Now, the Incomplete volume has only the first two novellas. Is that the one you have? (Somehow, I find this unlikely seeing how you defended DeCamp)
I have the Compleat Enchanter (I bought it years ago), which has the first three stories, AND The Complete Compleat Enchanter, which has the five novellas.
(I know there was ANOTHER book, Enchanter Reborn, which DeCamp edited, but honestly, without Fletcher Pratt I had little interest for it)
Which version do you have?

Actually, Kobe, I have them BOTH. An old tattered pb of the 'Incomplete' and a new version of the 'Complete'. I have to agree with you that Fletcher Pratt was a wonderful collaborator for DeCamp and that made a lot of difference in these stories.
Have you read the other Pratt books?
I recommend them.

Shamefully, I must confess the ONLY Fletcher Pratt book I own (other than the De Camp collaborations) is WELL OF THE UNICORN, which I assume EVERYBODY else also has.
I read it years ago, when I was in one of my fantasy phases.
Right now I'm reading a bunch of James Branch Cabell's books. EFFING great stuff. (I'll probably wind up reading Dunsany before this month's over)
