DVD releases
Here's some region 2 releases coming out in February that may be of interest.First off the Richard Chamberlain,Allan Quatermain films(but then again maybe not  ).Second the Richard Johnson,Bulldog Drummond film,Deadlier then the Male.And finally the Anthony Valentine,Raffles series from the 70's is coming out as a box set and single 2 episode disk.

Please, please tell me you did NOT just recommend those godawful Richard chamberlain movies.
I'll take him on Shogun (which just came out on DVD a few months back) but not on the "Quatermain" movies.

Well not really,I merely note they are coming out.Although I'm sure somebody somewhere will be getting them.Mind you He does make the definitive Aramis in the Richard Lester Musketeer movies.

Granted.
He DOES shine in the first **** Lester movie (I only saw the first one, alas, so I can't comment on the others) .
BTW, did you ever see him in The Man in the Iron Mask (the 70s version, not the one with DiCaprio)?? I only mention it because he DOESN'T play Aramis (or any Musketeer) in that movie. Come to think of it, do they even show up there?

There was an actor playing D'Artagnan in the film as a captain of the Musketeers but his name escapes me.

Oh, that's right.
It's been a while since I last saw it (though they used to show it all the time back then) .
Do you happen to remember the name of the villain Patrick McGoohan was playing? Was he Colbert, or was that the good guy who was helping Richard Chamberlain? It's been nagging me for a couple of days.

He played Fouquet.Many thanks to that font of all movie knowledge the IMDB.Oh and in other news in August on R2 the Legendary film Legend of the Seven Golden Vampires is coming out WhooHoo.
