nton,
Nope, the Titans graphic novel is not the Elseworlds you're talking about. As far as I can tell that one is still canceled.
Ministry of Space was a three issue mini by Warren Ellis and Chris Weston (basically, the Brits got the Nazi scientists instead of the Americans, and THEY wound up winning the space race. A wonderful what-if that sort of explains all those Brit science fiction comics and TV shows from the 50s and 60s). The last issue was... um, delayed for a couple of YEARS!!
BTW, Lost Girls IS finished. There've been some production hassles from Top Shelf, but the books should be coming out in the near future. TRUST me, it's nothing at all like Miracleman.
Um, WHAT thirteenth chapter from Watchmen? Did I miss something?

Shame... I think it's still officially "delayed", but... emoticon

Heck! So.... is it out now, then..? And is it worth/possible hunting down..?

Yeah, I know... but the last thing I read said that it was ready in 2001, and due out Summer 2002... emoticon

I shouldn't have thought so..! emoticon It's been officially denied by everyone ever since someone decided that it might exist, maybe... I noticed it on one of these random websites that tells you all about the Ultra-rare comics... LoEG V1I5(m); Elseworlds 80 Page Giant; Spidey Universe X; 'the Nightwing one that he wrote while drunk, and despite never handing in to anyone got printed somehow..' and 'the fables thirteenth issue of Watchmen which explains what happens after the 'cliff-hanger' of issue 12, which Alan Moore denies exists, Dave Gibbons won't say exists and was never printed according to sources..' ...THAT one! emoticon emoticon

Ministry of Space #3 is out in April, 2004.
The first two issues are not easy (re:cheap) to find, but I fully expect there'll be a TPB some months after number 3 is out.
What Spidey Universe X rumors? Did I miss something? emoticon

..are you winding me up, or..?! emoticon

..oh well. The original printing of the Spidey Universe X Special had some inappropriate writing on the spines of the books on one of the bookcases. Apparantly some chappie got sacked, and the artist decided to write on the books how pleased he was that the bloke no longer worked there. And then got found out, and discovered he no longer worked there, either...

Were we talking about Kev?

I'm distraught-
A friend of mine has just come back from holiday to find his house ruined by flooding... and he hadn't yet given me back the copy of Watchmen he borrowed.

No big deal, you may think but it was signed by Dave Gibbons with a little Rorshach sketch!

Oh well- he's suffered far worse, poor chap.

[This isn't my week. I've just been working late for eight days (ending in a trip to Stockholm, Swedish) came home, went for a bite to eat, stood up to leave the restaurant, knocked over a dumpy candle and poured a stream of molten wax all over my best clothes. emoticon ]

Actually, a GOOD cleaning service should be able to take care of that. Last year the same thing happened to me. Streams of molten wax over my Armani (not to mention a brand new Ermenegildo Zegna cashmere coat).
Let's just say the color of the wax wasn't the same as the suit or the coat.
I was actually close to tears. Literally. If the items could not be saved I would be down 4000 USD.
Fortunately, my cleaning service (which obviously took pity on my face) took over. A couple of days later both items were back in mint condition.

How about that!

Not only did the drycleaners scoff at my piffling challenge (apparently egg is much worse- raw, not boiled) but I found a ten pound note on the bus last night!
Swings and roundabouts...

...that's not at all good. emoticon We had that returning from holiday once - the boiler had burst in the attic and totally destroyed my sister's bedroom and the Computer room. Not much fun. emoticon ...with a Good insurance company though, it can almost be a blessing in disguise, but that won't sink in for about a year or so... commiserations, certainly..

Yeah... not much consolation, but providing there's a (albeit 'priceless' equates with 'nominal'..) value to place on it, it might be possible to itemise it on a claims report thingummy... but, yeah.. emoticon

...that's not good either.. the worst thing is when you have a power cut, dig out the candles, rediscover the Victorian idyll and then wind up with a fire as well.. emoticon

Can you legion of crumpet-munching,tea-sipping comics fans tell me just how many Zenith books SHOULD be out there?
I have the three collected TPBs that made it across the pond in the 90's....(wretched repro)...as far as I know that's all there is, but it certainly seemed as though it was a good series that should have continued, or was this when Morrison came over and abandoned his earlier projects?
I always liked the sort of Punk/Spoiler Brat Miracleman idea behind the series.'What if John McEnroe had super powers?-scenario is quite funny.' What are we missing?
Regarding Slaine...we know it here principally from a couple of b&w reprints and one well-done color anthology, but I know from visits to the UK that there are other episodes missing...just what is left?
