… I couldn't do it. I have to admit I would go out of my mind. I know that sounds awful... but I can't help it. If it even flickers the panic attack begins. I am a net junkie. My teen boys don't hang out all evening in the living room with me anymore. They have their own things going on. The baby goes to bed 7:00 pm and she made her own schedule ~ we have tried keeping her up later but she likes 7 pm. Most evenings because I like and need to be home with the kiddos it's me, the tv or stereo and this pc. It's my social life to a very large extent.
… lol ~ I get bummed too if there is no one on to talk with. And when they are slow (speed wise, page loading and the like) I could pull my hair out ~ I feel like the whole evening is ruined. So weird how this thing has such a hold on me. Guess it gets hold of just about everyone. I need internet anonymous though
Could you survive without internet access After a "detox" period, yes, I think I can. I definitely miss my awesome runboard friends, but I have been able to explore other creative outlets at least.
