The Philadelphia Sideshow Revue
Step right up, step right up! Come one, come all! Attend the area’s premiere sideshow event. Yes, that’s right, for this evening this Saturday May 28th, you will bear witness to and be astounded by the grand opening of the “PHILADELPHIA SIDESHOW REVUE” at Whiskey Dix 421 N. 7th St., Phila., PA. It’s a classic “ten-in-one” done up Philly style! As the Philadelphia Sideshow Revue spotlights and features Philly finest in sideshow entertainment, you will see, (LIVE!) performances including sword swallowing, the human pincushion, body stapling, strongman acts such as extreme pierced weightlifting, straightjacket escapes, bed of nails, glass eating, glass walking, body suspensions and more! See obscure oddities (REAL!) such as banners, bouncers, syphillatic babies and the alligator man displays put on by Professor Furry Couch’s “Great American Odditorium”. This is truly a one-of-a-kind show that should NOT be missed. Performances will be put on by; local sideshow wonder “Red” Stuart, Philly’s own Guinness World Record holder “The Great Nippulini”, newcomers to the scene Roger Hammer and Barry Silver as the “Unholy Sideshow”, and flesh tug-o’-war show by “Sickspension” will fill the bill. Attractions such as the “Six Foot Tall Man Eating Chicken” and the “Partially Tattooed Man” will destroy your senses of right and wrong.
Once all the insanity and mayhem settle down, stick around a bit for the musical stylings of the local band “The Sideshow Prophets” just to continue the sideshow theme of the evening.
So please, if you are in the area, do stop by and take in a show. For the price of one admission you get world of wonder, and in this day and age of $10 movie ticket admission prices, you know you can’t beat that!

Due to circumstances beyond our control, the Philadelphia Sideshow Revue will be put on hiatus. The musical band dropped out and some very unprofessional performers quit without notice. The Sideshow Revue will be in effect sometime in June. I will keep everyone posted.
