Hi all
The blockhead has to be the best sideshow act there is. It still gets a huge reaction, its portable, the parts are cheap and it can usually be done repeatedly. I love it!

I think I am playing to squeamish crowds because even fire eating gets the people who make faces and hang their tongues out of their mouths.
Blockhead definately gets people who cover their eyes, but I have never had people leave for that.
Stupid Roulette (daggered, less hokey version of Stigmata) is the one that I do which has people get up and leave, turn green, scream, grab stomaches, etc. The last time I did it the poor woman who was on stage with me (making sure I wasn't cheating), kept her eyes closed when I brought my hand down on the bag.
And I have to agree...bikers and many "psuedo-goths" happen to be the least hearty audience members I have had.

One of the best reactions I ever hav had from anyone learning the human blockhead was a VERY loud scream, covering of the eyes, and running away almost pukeing. It was great!
