When Pierced Weightlifting goes bad
I've been smart enough to know the strength of my piercings, so I never had a situation where I would put myself in danger. But there is more then just sheer weight to create a problem onstage.
When I first did my transmission suspension onstage, the chains connecting the piece to my nipples weren't aligned properly. So, the tranny is connected, I am doing my own bally. As I let go of the piece, it hangs nicely, the crowd goes "Oooo!". Unbeknownst to me, one of the chain links was holding SIDEWAYS, so after a bit of time goes by, the link slipped into its normal vertical fashion, dropping one side of the transmission down one inch. This actually scared the **** outta me, I had no idea what happened. There was no pain, just a shocking jolt of weight. The crowd actually thought something really bad had just happened. So I shrugged it off and said "Like I said, folks... these are the Worlds Strongest Nipples!"
Here's another fun one. I dangle bowling pins from my ear piercings during my act. The jewelry I use are captive bead rings. Well, one time onstage the captive bead wasn't secured enough in the ring, while I was swinging this bowling pin from it, the bead popped out and shot across to the backstage. The pin dropped to the stage floor with a loud noise. Thinking as quickly as possible, I exclaim to the audience "Wow folks, after that stunt, I can hear a PIN DROP!!". Ever since then I have incorporated that bit into my act by purposefully letting the pin drop.
