First sideshow ER visit

Grrrr, new mental notes to pick up on for the next show I do.

Well anyways I called up a vounteer(who wasn't visibally drunk) stand on me durring the bed of swords. (nice act no problems) well she as soon as she got on me told Elizabeth my assistant (that can handle most people) "Oh my god, I'm so drunk" (get off get off get the **** off!) she then proceeds to step/lunge/backwards dive on to Liz, kicking me in the process and nearly knocking over the bed. I threw down my arms to keep the bed from tipping and cut myself across the tip of the sword.

I didn't feel anything, so I went with the rest of the show like there was nothing wrong at all. Liz and the promotions director rushed over to me ripping the weak assed first aid kit off of the wall at the club. I finally after nearly pouring the kit over looking for the basic stuff that I needed to stop bleeding.

Finally, on to the way to the ER, I get in, covered in blood and a big assed bandage wrapped around my arm. And these people had the odasity to ask me "Can I help you?", "well if you aren't doing anything could I get my arm stiched back together?".

Now the only thing that I really liked was the doctor that stiched me up, 7 stiches in under 20 minuites quite impressive and a damn good job too. Liz showed up durring the stiching process and made sure that I was ok, and told me the situation at the club, then went back to the club to help Thomas and Chris out.

After gettin stitched back up, I was then questioned by the police becuase there was a sword involved. (well whoopy ****) more hassles and paperwork.

Ok, back to the club, we loaded out and went to I-SLOP before making it out to the hotel (I was in no place to drive Thomas and Chris back into Lincoln and I was woozy from what happened still)
On the way there, Thomas was explaining how ****ty the tippers were for when he was doing readings. They were just leaving him a dollar, and the outside line was the same way with the staplegun blowoff at both of the venues. (I did a friday night gig and it was hard as hell pulling a tip)

Omaha is cheap, it is extremly cheap when it comes to tipping, why I don't know. I know that I tip fairly well but what the ****?

Well, I came out fairly decently with getting paid, unfortunatly it all went into getting stitched back up.

Lessons learned:

1) OMAHA IS CHEAP
2) Find my damn first aid kit and put it back into my truck
3) I gotta do the cinderblock smash instead of the standing
4) Some people on the ER are ****ers, and others are cool as ****.

(well that is about it)
