Twice the pleasure, Twice the pain...
Greetings to all from Middle TN. I am a professional wrestler of 7 years, and a one man side-show for the last 4 years or so...
I'm quite pleased to have found this community, and hope to be able to share in some of the knowledge presented, and maybe even contribute some of my own.
Being a wrestler, and having exposure on PPV, Television, and holding championships in many promotions, has given me much less shoot time of my own. Wherever I go people expect me to be in gimmick. On top of that, I have to work time in for my sideshow, oh yeah-and real life...
But I wouldn't have it any other way!

Hi Pele, thanx for the welcome. I normally do a 4-in-1, but I tend to rotate the acts a bit to fit the situation I'm working.
The acts I use include:
Dartboard, Stapling, Pincussion, Geek(w/bugs), Joint Pops & Body Manipulation, Nailbed/Block Break, Shrink Wrap, Blockhead, Glasswalking, & Straight Jacket Escape.
I run one man, mostly Improv shows with alot of crowd interaction.
I expect to receive some controversy about my name. I respect Zamora, in fact my wrestling name was intended as a tribute to him. My only difficulty now is making the transition to full-time show status, and the confusion about the "Torture King" monicor.
I hope you all will understand and respect me as much as I respect all of you, my brothers and sisters in the "Entertainment" industry... Peace

May I ask about the confusion, does this mean you will be changing it for sideshow purposes to something else and hope that fans will not be confused or that you hope that it does not cause confusion between you and Zamora?
Have you emailed Zamora about this and discussed Service Marks and such that might be placed on it as a title vs. monicor? It might be worth looking into to avoid any possible confusion.

Now that I have retired from wrestling and focused on the sideshow, and after corresponding with Mr. Zamora via E-Mails, I have changed my stage name. I do this both to avoid any confusion in booking my act, and out of respect for him as well. The Torture King gimmick was a very succesful run in my wrestling career, and if my new "persona" gains even a fraction of the joy & success that I enjoyed there, I will be a very happy man. Peace...
