new guy here

Hi All,
.. just a little about myself..
.. I'm not a performer, never been one, don't want to be one, I have spend the past 18 or so years working in the theatre, every position from set and lighting .. to Prop master, and pyrotechnition, ( and YES I'm Licensed ! , hell I wrote the state test, so don't give me crap if I have fire related questions..)
I have been self employed for the last few years, after leaving a major regional theatre, a job that just about killed me...
.. I have been reading everything I can as of late, about the side show (and related crafts) and have been fascinated specifically with the "museums of strange curiosities" .. everything from the Great banners, the weird voyeuristic tendencies that are brought out by it.. and the psychology of sales that make it all worth while.
.. I have been going a little over board for the last few years with decorating my house for Halloween , ( its a strange result of designing props for a living) and thought that this year I would try and create a freakish museum of the strange for the little rug rats in the neighborhood.. I saw a 2 headed duck a while back ( might have been at the Bindlestiff's show in NYC) and fell in love with it, and have since ordered up a fantastic gaff from Mark Frierson ( its a great prop, and the service was fine as well ) and I have just completed a near perfect shrunken head .. with a hand punched hairline, and eye lashes.. (link to photos soon)... I have a nice mold and am willing to reproduce them if anyone needs one for a reasonable fee... (making the Antique display case for it now) .. next up is a Feegee mermaid.. I have several freak skulls from past years, and I'm waiting to de-mold a "Bouncer" with a parasitic twin in a day or so.. ( I'm working on a two faced baby, and a 3 eyed kid as well )...
... but the question is... what else do I need to "pad out" the exhibit.. what would you recommend for a handy guy like myself, with plenty of experience in molding and casting.and general prop construction.. I would love to , perhaps next year, set up a larger exhibit and charge an admission, so I would like to create things that will last and carry over to next year... perhaps a headless woman illusion...
.. I would also love to get in touch with someone who had actually set up a full size exhibit and pick their brain..
.. I have plenty to offer the group I hope, feel free to contact me with regard to latex, urethane, silicone, molding and casting questions ect... and you can feel free to e-mail me personally if you like, as sometimes I forget to check out this sort of board
