Ebay Suggestion
David,
I'm not sure if this one is feasible or worth it, but maybe you could add a section where people can post links to interesting sideshow related items on ebay. I know there is a stuff for sale section, but you'll only see items for sale by people who are members. With ebay listings you'll have a wide variety of items to look at.
For example there is a 2 headed bouncer banner on there now (not mine so I'm not trying to throw in a shameless plug for myself)at http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=804&item=3612352106
I do see two problems with it, and have 2 possible solutions.
#1 dead links when auctions end.
Solution - Post the auction end date with the item description in your topic.
#2 waste of space with dead auction posts.
Solution - Not sure if you can run through and delete the dead auctions once a month or so.
Just a thought. Sorry for being so long winded.

Re: Ebay Suggestion
Hi Derek
Great idea However rather than making a seperate section right now I think it would be fine to post other peoples eBay listings the 'stuff for sale' section. I will edit the notes in that topic to include the issues you brought up, and alter the topic description to make it clear that it is the place to include listings we have come across on eBay.
If a lot of eBay links get posted then it would probably be worth creating a seperate place though. So, I will keep my eye on it.
Thanks for the idea.

Re: Ebay Suggestion
Just as long as those who post keep it really on topic. I would hate to click a link through to a Care Bears collection auction

Re: Ebay Suggestion
Yeah. We need to make sure it is VERY clear that 'stuff for sale' is on topic!
