Forum Suggestion
Sorry to make my first "official" post a bit naggy. But...
Perhaps it is just me -- and more than likely it really, really is -- but I don't like all of the category listings. I find navigating through them pretty awkward. I would prefer all of it to be in one "folder" -- wrong word but you get the idea -- where I could look over the subject lines and see if I am interested in clicking on the topic.
Sorry if I come off as a bit shrill and complain-y. As Franco can tell you, I am an absolute whiz at coming up with suggestions I want other people to implement for me!
If no one else cares, or if that is the way this group is set up...fine. I will manage to muddle through one way or another (huge melodramatic sigh and out-turned palm placed upon my wearied brow)!
Kathleen
PS. I complain because I care.

Re: Forum Suggestion
I agree with you David.I think some of the categories that don't see much action could be could be combined into a more general category though.

Re: Forum Suggestion
Right now I think you are right Danny. But like I said it is partly a case of planning for the future. Those catagories that are seeing little action at the moment could become important as time goes on. This forum is only a week old, and as yet I have done little to promote it. In a year they could be teeming with posts!
Basically I am moving slowly on attracting members because I am still learning the ropes, this is all new to me. I suspect that, as I advertise this place more, and as people here tell others, we are going to need more, rather than less areas to post. If there are still areas going underused in a couple of months I will consider combining them a bit more then. But I would rather sit it out and wait for now than restructuring just to have to change back again a few months down the line.
Hope you understand Please feel free to slap me if I turn into a tinpot forum dictator at any point.
David

Re: Forum Suggestion
I think your doing great David. I was thinking long term about combining forums. I should have been more specific.
