What's with the Karma? I've noticed the Karma points under my avatar. How is this system used and what happens if someone gets too much negative points? Does it have to do with the "Applaud" and "Smite" links? If so, I've also noticed that "Applaud" and "Smite" aren't listed for local users, just us global guys. Any explanations? David?
Thanks,
TGN

Re: What's with the Karma? Yeah, I dig it too... I just didn't know what it was all about. Seems like a neat way to keep "score" as it were. Check yours, Malkav!
BTW, I forgot to ask you for a banner to link you on my site. E-mail me one if you have.

Re: What's with the Karma? Yeah. I only just spotted the Karma thing myself. Runboard tell me nothing!
I did accidentally smite someone when I was trying to figure it out, then had to applaud them the next day to put things right (it only lets you 'applaud' or 'smite' the same person once a day).
So, if you like what someone has said, applaud them, if you don't, smite them. Hopefully the feature will be available for local users soon.
