Calling All Freaks!
We start previews of my show, Carnival Knowledge, on Thursday. On Wednesday,
we are doing an open call audition for freaks, unusual performers or beautiful
women willing to be hypnotized and turned into a gorilla. These will be for
understudies for the show and for future companies of the production. If you
are in the NYC area, and want to show us what you do, please email me at
coneyislandtodd@aol.com.
The call is on Wednesday, July 23rd at 10:30 am at the Soho Playhouse, 15
Vandam St. (between 6th Ave and Varick) in Manhattan. The open call will only
be for one hour, so don't be late. There is a lot of press interested in this
event, so there will be a number of reporters and film crews that will want to
talk to the people taking part in the audition. All participants will get a
free ticket to see the show. Even if you don't want to perform, all are
welcome to com down and what what is going on. I hope to see you there.
