Ghosts of the Abyss
The 3D Imax film Gosts of the Abyss, was a movie that looked like not coming to Australia. I had been in contact with Imax Australia by both email and phone, only to receive replies stating that it is unlikely that it would be shown here, but if we hear anything we will let you know.
Just as I had given up hope of ever seeing it on the Imax screen, I received an email telling me that it will be shown in Australia, in Sydney and Melbourne only.
That left me only 2 options, either not see it, or, as I decided to do, fly the 1000km to Sydney to se it.
It cost $17.00 to see the movie and $238.00 for airfare, but it was worth it.

The season has been extended from 2 months to a minimum of 6 months, and possibly as long as 12 months. Which means I will be able to see it again when I return to Sydney for Christmas.

GotA will be playing at the Smithsonian's Johnson Imax Theater indefinately on Friday and Saturday nights, if anyone is coming to Washington, DC. If you are, give me a holler and you'll even have your very own tour guide.
