German "Titanic" Movie I just heard this - "Perhaps you could tell people that the 1943 German version of Titanic
is available on DVD with English sub-titles.
They can order it from www.dvdboxoffice.com for around £16.00 with
free shipping to the UK from Canada. The DVD is Region 1 so they must
have a multi region machine. Most machines here sold in the UK these
days are multi region."
Re: German "Titanic" Movie Can you get multi-region DVD players here in the US?
--- "What I remember about that night- what I will remember as long as I live- is the people crying out to each other as the stern began to plunge down. I heard people crying, 'I love you.'"
Re: German "Titanic" Movie I don't think there's a difference in DVDs, just videos. All DVDs can be played in DVD players, including computers - I have some Polish SF DVDs that play just fine.

No that is not quite true, although the dvd can be played and watched and does not alter like video, you do need a multi region player or to set your dvd player t multi region first. Most dvd players on the market are multi region but some manufacturors tend to set it to region. A web site is available to set it yoursellf.
